I do love some of the alternative Christmas trees Desiree but, I cannot bring myself to change the hait of a lifetime and I HAVE to have a real Christmas tree. I'm not very good with change !!!! XXXX

I love it. Last year I built my Christmas tree in a similar way - on the wall with Christmas lights. It was adorable and free.

I like the twig tree the best. Still a tree and natural but minimal. The magazine one was cool but everyone does not have that kind of bookcase. I love real evergreen trees but would quit breathing because of my allergies. I am looking forward to seeing what you do for a tree.
Wow! So many creative ideas!
A few years ago when we lacked space for a real tree, I use two tomato cages that were shaped like cones and stacked them. Then I cut strips of silver paper and folded each strip over the grids of the cage. As I filled each row on the grid with folded strips it began to take the shape of a pine tree atop a mountain side. I then added a white stick on white sparkle to each strip and placed a light inside the tree.
It was pretty and simple.
I like it! I am always the one stuck taking down the tree and this looks VERY appealing to me. :)

Of course a real one is often more smelly... but anyway I vote also for alternatives ones...rather simple, not very sophisticated... and it must be °Waouw effect° enough to give the house this great Christmas atmosphere!!! you'll show us yours, hein, Desiree???

Ik hou hier wel...volgens mij had VT Wonen in eerdere jaren een spiraalvormige kerstboom, die vond ik ook zo grappig!

ja ik vind hem leuk alleen als kerst voorbij is moet je je muur weer schilderen ...
Geweldig....het hele plaatje spreekt mij geweldig aan...wat zeg ik...jouw hele blog vind ik erg leuk, volg je ook trouw!!
Je gebruikt ook altijd precies de juiste eenvoudige, sobere kleuren bij elkaar, erg mooi.

Ik heb even op je pagina gekeken. Genoeg inspiratie! Misschien dit jaar een beetje van beiden, de ouderwetse en een alternatief.
Voor mij liever toch nog een echt boompje met echte dennenboomgeur :), maar sommige ontwerpen voor alternatieve bomen zijn gewoon geweldig origineel en leuk. Een boompje van smeedijzer zou ook nog iets zijn... misschien maar even mijn man een por geven... :D

oe elk jaar kriebelt het steeds meer....wil wel eens wat anders, maar ja...man en kinderen zweren bij een "echte"boom he ;)!

Ja mooi, als je er de inrichting naar hebt. Want voor iedere inrichting is er wel een boom.
